Ever wanted to find a space to talk about your experiences and concerns, get practical advice, ask questions and find out about the support available to you and your family?

Well here's your chance!

We'd like to invite you to attend our free national event for the brothers and sisters of people affected by mental illness.

When: Saturday 2 March 2013. 10.30 am - 5.00 pm
Where: The Hotel Russell, London, WC1B 5BE

The event will include talks, workshops and the chance to connect with other siblings to share experiences and practical advice.

The main aim of the project is to improve current practices surrounding the identification of mental health problems for people in contact with the police, through increasing access to timely and appropriate referral to mental health professionals . Our meeting this Weds 11th March

Our next meeting will be on Wednesday 11th March starting at 6pm for tea, coffee and biccies, and ending at 8pm. Lauren Bate, our Rethink link, will be coming along to our group this Wednesday. We want you to tell us what you get out of the group and what would you like to see more of. If you are travelling by public transport, Manchester Carers Centre is directly across the road from the New Islington Metrolink stop (Droylsden Line). It’s one tram stop from Piccadilly train station. Some of us meet at Piccadilly station by the taxi rank at 5.30 and head up together. Text Lindsey on 07757 082 976 so we know to wait for you. If you are travelling by car, free parking is available on Pollard Street from 6pm.
