The aims of the festival is to promote the physical health of people with serious mental disorders. Also, to engage local stakeholders including NHS Trusts, Public Health, mental health charities and 3rd sector organisations. Our Manchester Rethink Group will be part of the festival activities by creating an art project that represents Hope. The aim is for each person to draw or write something that represents positivity or hope to them (there will be lots of coloured pens, felts, paints etc). At the end of the session we will collate everyone’s contribution and make a collage. We hope this will produce a myriad of words, shapes and colours!
