Hi! Tea event at Town Hall, Weds 11th September

Manchester Mental Health and Social Care Trust is holding its “Hi! Tea” event and Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 11th September 2013, 10am – 4pm at Manchester Town Hall. Download the poster here.

 The “Hi! Tea” event is a tea party at Manchester Town Hall. Everyone is encouraged to join, have a cup of tea, take part in the activities and enjoy the entertainment provided. The Trust's Annual General Meeting will be inside the Town Hall at 2pm. It will be a free full day event open to everyone, activities include:

  • Hi Tea Lunch time tea party/picnic
  • Information stalls
  • Health bus conducting health checks
  • Baby massage session
  • Tea and cake
  • Video room
  • Smoothie bike
  • Music
  • Memory Pods
  • Annual General Meeting at 2pm
  • Cooking demonstration and much more

Our meeting this Weds 11th March

Our next meeting will be on Wednesday 11th March starting at 6pm for tea, coffee and biccies, and ending at 8pm. Lauren Bate, our Rethink link, will be coming along to our group this Wednesday. We want you to tell us what you get out of the group and what would you like to see more of. If you are travelling by public transport, Manchester Carers Centre is directly across the road from the New Islington Metrolink stop (Droylsden Line). It’s one tram stop from Piccadilly train station. Some of us meet at Piccadilly station by the taxi rank at 5.30 and head up together. Text Lindsey on 07757 082 976 so we know to wait for you. If you are travelling by car, free parking is available on Pollard Street from 6pm.
